We fist started off by chosing what insitutions we were going to use for our openig two minutes of our video, we looked at horror and thriller movies that fitted close and around our genre, and used these as influences in what genres we eventually decided to use. We decided to use 'paramount pictures' as we saw they producted 'paranormal activity' series. This was a big influence for our group as this film is very similar to our film. We also used 'Optimun home enterainment' as our second institution, we decided to use this one after watching 'eden lake' this film infulenced us in its story and the way the titles were shown at the beginning of the film.
